Welcome to Grace Church on line. Our purpose is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and in deed. We are committed to the authority of God’s Word, the Bible, in our lives and in our worship. Our worship services, therefore, are centered around the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. Whenever we gather as a church, we gather, like the church in the book of Acts, to hear God’s Word, to sing and pray together, to fellowship, and to serve. Please come and join us.
MEDITATION FOR NOVEMBER:
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content – 1 Timothy 6:6-8
What a change of perspective occurs when we come to fully realize that death is not the end of our life, but the beginning. And furthermore, nothing we obtain in this life by way of material possessions will be transferrable to the age to come. How foolish it would be to spend our whole life amassing that which at the end we simply leave behind. How foolish it would be to complain about minor inconveniences and material wants when we know that this life is only a short journey on our way to the Promised Land, where there will be no more want or loss. Let us rather seek those things which are above where Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father, let us set our affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Then truly we will know the immeasurable and eternal gain of godliness with contentment.
Sunday Evenings - Please note that during the summer moinths of July and August, we will not be holding Sunday evening services. Please use this time to spend with friends and family in fellowship.
The Notes page has a new document that explains our view of the biblical philosophy of worship. Take this opportunity to read it in light of the many means people use to approach God in worship.
